What is the Neurotoxin Center of Excellence?
The Neurotoxin Centers for Excellence are designed for neurologists and other physicians who practice and are interested in the area of headache management. This case-based learning experience focuses on the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of all headache types seen in various Headache Centers across the United States. Using small group meetings, review of enduring materials, independent reading, and observation of patients in the clinic, participants will be exposed to multiple aspects of diagnosis and treatment of refractory headache, including new treatments. Sessions will be offered monthly and space will be limited to assure all participants have the opportunity to interact with faculty. Those who meet the pre-requisites will be accommodated on a first-come first -served basis. In addition to the pre and post-test, participants will be required to complete TWO post-activity evaluations.
