What is The Nets relationship to various local churches in the community?
The Net is an independent ministry. It is not organizationally affiliated or attached to a particular local church. The young adults that come to the Net often attend many chuches throughout the city. Many young adults that come to the Net are entering into Christian community for the first time. They are encouraged to find a church that they may attend regularly on Sunday mornings. We may recommend specific churches from time to time on an individual basis. We will tend to recommend churches that are in an active relationship with The Net. We publicize our alliance churches at The Net and on our website. These churches see the Net as an extension of their young adults ministry and are a great encouragement to the ministry. Often their pastors or staff members will attend the Net.
