What is the Netherworld?
Technically speaking, it’s Hell. It isn’t as dark and dreary as Judeo-Christian scripture makes it out to be, however, and it does have its nice areas. Still, a lot of the nasty things said about it hold true, and it definately takes a lot of getting used to. The Netherworld is ruled by an Overlord who commands complete control of the populace. Demons are free to try and usurp the throne if they like, but this usually results in the gruesome deaths of said demons. An Overlord is pretty much the strongest demon there is.
