What is the Net Size of Western Window products?
A. Our windows are manufactured one half inch under the rough opening width and height. Example: A 5040 slider would require a rough opening of 60 inches wide and 48 inches high. The net size of the window, measured from outside frame edge to outside frame edge on the width and height (excluding the nailing fin) would measure 59 ½” x 47 ½”.
