Builth Road and Cilmeri stations, on the Shrewsbury to Swansea line, are both between 2.5 and 3 km from Builth Wells. It’s a bit of a sparse service on that line, but very picturesque. Both these stations are request stops, so remember to tell the conductor in advance that you’ll want the train to stop!
