What is the NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge?
The NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge consists of a series of five (5) exercise stations: Line Sprints, Jump Rope, Defensive Shuffle, Wall Pass and Speed Revolution. Participants compete individually against the stopwatch and each participant is timed at each of the five (5) exercise stations for thirty (:30) seconds per station. The repetition of each exercise converts into a point value participants are trying to earn as many points as possible in the thirty (:30) second time period. The NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge sponsored by SINGULAIR, is an easily administered program in which boys and girls compete separately in (3) levels of competition, with thirty-two (32) participants advancing to NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge Regional Competitions and sixteen (16) advancing to the NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge National Finals at NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas, Texas, February 12-14, 2010.
