What is the Navigation Bar?
Demeter is set up to display a navigation bar by default. This is the area to the left of the screen. Clicking on one of the Navigation buttons will open the relevant section and display related areas. For example clicking on Garden Locations displays the Details, Images and Attributes options that apply to Garden Locations, whereas Accessions has Details, Images, Documents, Attributes, Propagations, Measurements and Herbarium Specimens options. Big Fonts on plant names on reports If you run a report in Demeter and the plant name appears extremely large and truncated then you will need to change your display settings. Your computer has been set by default to use a DPI setting higher than the Normal value of 96 DPI. To change your setting, open the control panel; select the Appearance and Themes option; select the Change the Screen Resolution option. There is an Advanced button on this screen. Click the button and change the DPI setting to Normal (96 DPI). You
