What is the nature of the cumulative Capstone Project, EDTC 670?
EDTC 670, Integrative Capstone Project, focuses on a self-directed project (with professor) involving collaboration with colleagues within or across grade levels or departments in the preK-12 schools to incorporate innovative solutions to instructional problems. This capstone experience provides students with the opportunity to apply and build upon previous knowledge and skills gained from other courses in the program. Students will identify an instructional problem in a K-12 school or schools, develop a technology-based solution to that instructional problem, research and implement the solution, evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation, make recommendations for the future and provide a dissemination plan. The course is offered in fall and spring semesters.
