What is the nature of Chimerstry?

From my understanding … Before a User creates an illusion, the illusion must be constructed within the User’s own mind. It is the User who chooses the nature of the illusion, not the target. The User can NOT simply think, “the target sees a credit card.” The User has to cook up the illusion, deciding what brand of card, adding the correct information (brand, holder’s name, credit card number, etc.). The User then externalizes the illusion, giving it physical form. More than a mental image, it can phsyically be be seen, smelled or heard by anyone. It can even be detected by sensory equipment. Some knowledge of how the illusion is supposed to look, taste, smell, sound or feel is a must. The User needs to have experienced a real verison of object, through his own senses. However, he only needs to have experienced the real thing through one of his senses. Seeing a bowl of beef stew allows the User to re-create the stew, complete with smell and taste, even though he’s never tasted stew. T
