What is the Natural Features Project?
Through the Corvallis 2020 Vision Statement and the 1998 Comprehensive Plan policies, the citizens of Corvallis adopted policies regarding economic stability and providing affordable housing choices. Additional policies also show the citizens high regard for the natural environment, open spaces, significant views, and respect for hazards associated with flooding, wildfires, and landslides. To achieve the communitys goals, the community had to find the correct balance between economic stability, housing choice, environmental preservation, and risk management.
