What is the National Philanthropic Trust?
An independent public charity, the National Philanthropic Trust helps individuals and families reach their philanthropic goals meaningfully and effectively. NPT administers the philanthropic efforts of donors throughout the United States who make grants to 501(c)(3) organizations. Most NPT donors’ giving takes the form of donor advised funds. NPT is currently one of the 100 largest charitable institutions in the United States, having raised over $1.2 billion in charitable assets. Since our founding in 1996, we have distributed more than 25,000 grants totaling over $630 million to charities worldwide.
