What is the National Do Not Call List (DNCL)?
The National Do Not Call List (DNCL) is a list of telephone numbers from consumers who have chosen to reduce the number of telemarketing calls they receive. Most organizations making telemarketing calls are required to remove phone numbers on the National DNCL from their calling lists. Bell Canada was contracted by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to act as the National DNCL Operator. It is enforced by the CRTC.
