What is the National Center for Boundless Playgrounds?
The National Center for Boundless Playgrounds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides leadership to foster and create fully integrated, universally accessible playgrounds for children of all abilities. Each is uniquely designed to provide for inclusive play and to remove the barriers that limit childhood exploration and development. Fifty-five Boundless Playgrounds projects are now open in 19 states and Canada and 15 others will open by Fall 2003, with dozens more currently in development. Boundless Playgrounds was founded in 1997 by a passionate team of parents and professionals.
