All branches of the sciences are involved in the study of the ozone layer. the primary scientist involved are physicists, chemists, meteorologists, geologists, biologists. Physicists study the physical properties of the ozone layer. Chemists study the chemical reactions involver in the creation and destruction of the ozone. Meteorologists study the affects of the changes in the ozone layer. Geologists study the gases released from volcanoes and the ocean and there affect on the ozone layer. Biologists study biological processes involved and the effects of the changing ozone layer. All sciences work together to help under stand our universe and the effects that we are having on our world. P.S. I don’t consider an environmentalist a scientist. A Scientist is some one with the ability to do original research, not someone who takes what others have written an twists it into what they want it to say.
