What is the name of the plant that smells like peanut butter?

These are mostly tropical plants, but some varieties such as Clerodendrum bungei are hardy in our climate and spread enthusiastically by underground roots if you don’t control them. Besides fragrant foliage, clerodendrums have lovely purple and red flowers. Keep in mind that you need to rub the leaves to release the distinctive peanut butter scent, and also that this is not an edible plant (an important consideration for a child’s garden).
