What is the name for a muslim womans dress, not just her head dress?
Muslim women can wear any dress on the very clear condition, that it should cover her whole body head, arms, body and legs. It should not be tight dress which reveal the details of her body, it should be modest and loos without colorful items which could attract strangers. This dress is meant for her to use when going outside her House, as here body is precious and is not meant to be displayed for public, but at here house she could wear anything. Now as many of the women would like to wear all kinds of dresses when visiting here parents or other women,that means it could be tight and colorful, she would use another dress on top of such dress which comes loos on her and does cover her body and dress. Such cover is called Abaya, mostly it comes in black, but that color is not a must, but it has become a custom.
