What is the My Profile (Student Record) section in Online Career Office used for?
The information that you see under My Profile/Student Record when you first registered with Online Career Office, is information imported from UB’s Records and Registration about you such as your address. Check to see if it is correct, and if not, go ahead and make any necessary changes, but be sure to also tell the Student Response Center too. You should complete the keywords section if you are seeking a job/internship and especially if you are going to have your resume in the Resume Database online for employers to view. When employers seek resumes, they search by corresponding keywords such as major, graduation year, geographic preference, certifications, etc..
