What is the Multiple Listing Service – “MLS”?
The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is most dynamic source of property listed by REALTORS ©. When prospective buyers contact a real estate agent to look for a future home, the real estate agent will review the MLS system for properties meeting the prospective buyer’s criteria. If you home is listed in the MLS – real estate agents will be inclined to show your property because a ‘co-op’ (commission) will be paid to them at closing. To get the most exposure you need to be in the MLS.
