What is the “MTA Acknowledgment Form” and why does my Principal Investigator need to sign it?
Some institutions require the Principal Investigator (PI) to be listed as the Recipient Scientist on MTAs. If your PI did not place the plasmid request, your PI must complete the MTA Acknowledgment Form to acknowledge the MTAs accompanying the plasmid transfer. This allows Addgene to list your PI on the MTA as the Recipient Scientist.
