(a.) District gets Texas Education Agency Security Environment (TEASE) clearance for its MRT Data Entry User and District Approver. (b.) TEA assigns that MRT Data Entry User a user name and password to access the online application. Only the authorized MRT Data Entry User and District Approver may access and submit information in the online application. (c.) MRT Data Entry User enters teachers’ names and Social Security Numbers in the online application. In the final report phase of the application, the district’s MRT Data Entry User enters the number of months each teacher served under MRT certification during the school year. The District Approver submits the application by entering the superintendent’s code. The online application automatically calculates the amount of the MRT stipend. (d) Funds for this program are subject to audit, according to TEC § 21.410(k).
