What is the MPRE?

The MPRE has 60 multiple-choice questions per exam that must be answered in the course of two hours. Individual jurisdictions determine their own passing scaled scores. This examination is tested separately from the rest of the Bar Examination. It is the only portion that students can take while still in law school, and is offered in March, August, and November. States testing the MPRE (as of November 07): All states test the MPRE except for Maryland, Washington, and Wisconsin.
