What is the MPICs policy on weapons?
The MPIC acknowledges that weapons are a part of the military and law enforcement communities; however, this club was not formed on the basis of firearms. Law enforcement and military personnel are trained and have appropriate respect and caution when handling munitions. Weapons will not be a topic discussed in any meeting and will not be tolerated if brought up in the appearance of a guest-speaker. Violators are subject to ejection from the current meeting (at discretion of MPIC Admin staff) and/or asked to leave the club permanently (after school administration review). In light of the events of Columbine and September 11th, we wish to distance ourselves from irresponsible and/or aggressive people. Also, our policies are very tight because the MPIC not only represents each individual, but the school, military, and police communities as well.
