What is the MPG for a Nissan 350Z with a Vortech Supercharger?
Good news is that I actually have an 04 350z with a Vortech Supercharger, and I own a supercharger company so I know a lot about this topic. Around town just driving around normal you can expect the fuel economy to stay the same. If you do step on it and drive hard it will show an average of 19mpg on the meter that we have. Now I took a couple trips to Las Vegas and when my car was stock besides exhaust it showed an average of 24mpg. Well, last year I did the same drive with the supercharger and I got an average of 32mpg. So the Vortech actually helped out during those long consistent drives. Now the supercharger has been my car for around 2 years now and has been flawless. There are over 40,000 miles with the blower on and it is okay so please don’t listen to the other guy. As long as you stay in the lower boost levels of 6-9psi you will be pretty safe.
