What Is The Movie Havana Nights About?
Havana Nights is actually Dirty Dancing Part two. It is a very good movie about dancing. It is about a young girl named Katie who is from a well-to-do family. The family is moving to La Havana, Cuba. Katie’s dad is getting transferred to Cuba for work purposes. As Katie tries to adjust to life in Cuba, she meets a young Cuban pool boy who shows her how to dance Cuban style. Katie is totally amazed at how they dance in Cuba. Even after all of her training, the dancing is like nothing she has ever seen or danced. The Cuban pool boy’s name is Javier. Javier and Katie learn to dance together in secret and by the end of the movie the two have fallen in love and they enter a dance contest. They do not win the competition, but by the end of the movie, Cuba is liberated from Che. Katie ends up leaving Cuba, but never forgets her experience while she was there. It is a good movie for those who like Latin dancing.
