The Motorway mode is a function offered by your ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 during long journeys. The Motorway mode is activated when the vehicle takes a motorway or main road with no scheduled change of direction for at least 50 kilometres. The navigation screen switches automatically to 2D mapping mode after having displayed the message “Next instruction in xxx km. Activation of Motorway mode” and voice instructions are then deactivated until the next change of direction. To activate/deactivate motorway mode, during navigation or navigation simulation, click on the bottom part of the screen to access the Navigation actions menu. Once in this menu, select Options (Figure 1). Figure 1 In the navigation options, you can activate or deactivate motorway mode (Figure 2).
