Ubuntu. Hands down. It’s Linux for people who should really be using windows. That said there are some slightly un-linux-like quirks about it and personally I would go with Debian (which Ubuntu is derived from). It’s a little more standard, about as easy to use and has a larger community around it. That’s what I’m using now. http://www.debian.
