I worked with Native Eskimos in 1952 for the United Mining Smelting and refefining Company. We worked at Chatanika Strip. Strip mining for gold layers to six feet through the permafrost. I can remember only one native I worked with. His name was Rudy. Maybe someone could put me in touch. I saw picture of him in a National Georgaphic Magazine around 1957.
