What is the most profitable business?
I started a business. I wish i had been brave enuf to do it years ago; instead of working for someone else. There is no “most profitable” business. Hardware stores have the least profit margin…. you make apx 1% profit on a nail so you have to sell a lot of nails to make a living. Candle stores are easy to open but how many candles a day do people buy? I read that 9 out of 10 small businesses close. They couldn’t make a profit. I also read that the business that is most likely to still be operating in 10 years is a jewelry store….. but that’s because most jewelry stores take $2Million to open so you know the owners are already rich and can make it thru the hard times. I think you already know what business you are interested in. Start small in your home before leasing space in an office building or shopping center. If you make a profit , use that money to open the store.
