What is the most powerful / longest lasting model rocket engine?
If you’re talking only about model rockets (low power), the strongest thrust you’ll find is in the Estes D12. The longest burning and highest total impulse is the Estes E9. If you’re interested in broadening beyond that, there are midpower APCP motors that are much more powerful than the Estes motors. E-G sized motors by Aerotech and Road Runner provide alot of fun. Aerotech also sells some great mid power rocket kits, as do companies like LOC/Precision and Public Missiles Limited. LOC and PML will also introduce you to the world of high power rockets, which can use much bigger, much more powerful motors. That could be an avenue to explore, depending on your age.
