What is the most populated city in South America outside of Brazil and Argentina?
We’ll never sort this one out because of unreliable data. It’s impossible to have an accurate count or one that exactly compares Lima and Bogota. This page shows Lima as having the larger population within city limits and Bogota the larger urban area. But note the same figure is given for Lima both within city limits and for the metropolitan area!
