What is the most likely scenario of my probation violation case in Ventura County California?
I am 40+ years old and I am facing an arraignment in Ventura County, Ca. regarding a probation violation. I did not complete my 5 days of Work Release dating back 10-11 years ago. I completed only one of the five days assigned. I had a medical condition that excused me just before my second scheduled day. Regretfully, I did not follow up on the remaining days due and a warrant was issued that I was unaware of. Until a simple fix-it traffic stop ended with a day in jail. I have an absolutely clean criminal and driving record other than the DUI from 10-11 years ago. I am a working professional in charge of operations for a large manufactoring company with 15 years with my current employer. The initial scenario from my lawyer is 10 days in jail, possibly consecutive. 5 days for the for the underlying violation and 5 days for violation of probation. I would appreciate any other educated opinions on the most likely conclusion to this scenario. Thank you very much.
