What is the most likely result of a Constitutional Convention?

The two positions that probably enjoy the greatest support and that have a reasonable opportunity of being ratified by 38 states are either an amendment defining marriage between a man and a woman, or an amendment that returns authority back to the states to allow them to decide certain issues, such as marriage, for themselves. Both of these positions would move the Constitution back closer to what it was with the Founding Fathers.
