What is the most legal high powered rifle/shotgun that i can buy at 19 from the uk?caliber?
If you live in the UK you are very limited in your choice. I don’t think you can buy a rifle but you should be able to get a shotgun. You may have to wait until you turn 21 and then you can apply for a license. It’s a real headache buying guns in England and lots of hoops to jump through. However, the restrictions are worth it because it keeps the criminals safe from honest citizens. Your government does not want the country to be a dangerous place for the bad guys and does everything it can to make sure they have a safe place to work in. It’s working as the crime rate is going up. Gun laws are only as effective as the criminals obey them. In other words, not at all. Good luck and stay safe. I just check on gun laws again and need to make corrections. If you can get a FAC you can buy a rifle and you are old enough. Sorry about the mistake. I don’t know the highest caliber though. FAC is fire arm certificate.
