What is the most innovative and effective technique for teaching some HCI topic that you are aware of?
Dix: Not necessarily the most innovative and effective, but one of the things I like to do is to use physical props within the teaching environment and the students themselves: e.g. to demonstrate the fact that people communicate via objects as well as speech I get two students to carry a table round the room with one of them blindfold.
