What is the most important invention in the history of the world?
The most important invention is a tough one. Since it can be argued that any invention wouldn’t have come about were it not for a different invention. I think it just may very well be an impossible question to answer. For instance, if I say the automobile is the most important invention, then you could make the argument that had the wheel not been invented, there would be no car. To go further, I obviously have no idea how the wheel was actually invented, if we guess that the wheel was invented by chiseling rock into a round shape, then we could say the wheel would not have been invented were it not for the chisel. The bottom line is that I think no invention can stand up to the intelligence of humanity. It seems a bit contradictory to use that statement considering the strife we cause one another, but that just may be a misdirected use of intelligence. If used properly, we could avoid the strife and only use it for things to make people’s lives better.
