What is the most important information I should know about Pred Forte?
Do not use Pred Forte more often or for a longer period than your doctor orders. Overuse can increase the risk of side effects and can lead to eye damage. If you use Pred Forte eyedrops for 10 days or longer, an eye doctor should check your intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eyeball) frequently. If you have glaucoma, use Pred Forte cautiously. Chronic increased intraocular pressure may cause loss of vision. If your eye inflammation or pain lasts longer than 48 hours or becomes worse, stop using Pred Forte and call your doctor. If your eye problems return, do not use any leftover Pred Forte without first consulting your doctor.
