RM: In the last years we observe, from a technical point of view, the strong research of weaving machinery manufacturers to increase flexibility and performances. The most important theme for the next five years will be the achievement of higher efficiency of the machines, energetic and operational, the starting point for increased profitability. Simplification of the machine, with large use of automation, will also be sought, as it can represent a double advantage for the weaver, who can easily take advantage of the new technology and for manufacturers who have to fight against the dangerous, often unjustifiable strong machine price erosion, particularly in the last years. 2456: How do you see the global weaving industry for this and next year?
