What is the most friendliest breed of cockatiel?
Cockatiels are one species. They don’t have “breeds”. Differences between cockatiels are called mutations. These mutations affect color and pattern. Color and pattern do not affect personality. All birds have their own personality. 10 identical cockatiels will all have their own unique personality and behaviors. Choose a bird that is already friendly. Stay away from pet stores. They get their birds from huge breeding mills – like puppy mills. These birds are hand-fed, but not hand tamed, or properly socialized. Pet store birds are often carriers of disease, because they are housed with so many other birds. If you want a friendly cockatiel, I recommend adoption. There are plenty of homeless tiels in shelters and exotic bird rescues waiting to be adopted.
