What is the most efficient way to write a cheat sheet?
There are many ways. Thus mine is only one of many. I find going through material over and over and on each occasion cutting out what you’re familiar with helps best. Thereby producing smaller and smaller revisions of your notes (hopefully to fit into your preferred size of medium). ## The benefits ## 1. You have a cheat sheet that you actually need. By culling known material in earlier revisions, the abridged version of your notes will contain material that you find difficult to remember. Essentially you have a personalised cheat sheet for your brain. 2. The repetitive process of culling known material will help you learn the material. 3. Your first version of your cheat sheet will not be the best version. With better appreciation for the material, your later revisions will be better and more efficient at jogging details in your memory. 4.
