What is the most effective way to kill weeds between patio pavers without using something environmentally harmful?
Bricks. Pavers. Weeds! You have my sympathy. I es[pecially don’t want to use something toxic because of the dogs–I DO NOT want them bringing it in on their feet, then licking it off! The good old-fashioned labor intensive dig ’em out method works the best the longest. I have also tried, with some success, pouring boiling water on the plant roots. But since you still have to go back and pull ’em up, I just get out the sharpened putty knife and dig, any more. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was a once-and-done task–even a once in a season task! But we have to keep after it constantly. And the brick pavement wasn’t MY idea!
