What is the most effective medicine to take for backache whilst breastfeeding?

You shouldn’t really take medicine whilst breastfeeding as this will effect your body and therefore your milk. Try getting some effective gels to rub into your back e.g. deep heat is really good and actually works! I know you probably just want to take medicine but painkillers will just hide the pain and you’ll actually do more damage to your back when taking painkillers because you’ll have forgotten about the pain and do things that you shouldn’t do while you have a bad back. Try the gel for now, rest and if you can get a physiotherapy appoinment that would also help.
