What is the Most Effective Assessment Technique?
There are many different types of classroom assessment. The most commonly used assessments include written tests and performance tests. Written tests typically test a person’s acquired knowledge and skills while performance tests measure a person’s ability to use his/her knowledge and skills to solve problems or create products. Both approaches have their advocates and their critics. Side 1: Written tests are more effective than performance tests. Written tests are efficient.
