What is the most economical method of shipping carpet tiles?
We use commercial carriers for larger orders and shop for the best freight rate. Commercial trucking companies are equipped to handle pallet shipments with forklifts and loading dock facilities. They typically charge additional for residential deliveries. If you are not available to unload the tiles they will take the order back to their warehouse. We have a good relationship with these carriers and most have terminals near major cities where you can avoid the residential delivery up charge by picking up your order. We also use ground service for the convenience on your smaller residential and business orders (either DHL or FedEx). These are usually orders for less than 250 sq.ft.
