What is the most durable material for kitchen/bath counters?
• Granite is one of the hardest materials for counters, and available in an array of colors and patterns. Stone materials generally require minimal maintenance. A sealer should be applied every year or two, and at least annually on lighter colors to prevent staining. Granite is also a good choice in bathrooms, although some prefer marble, a softer material. But that’s OK because bathroom counters get far less use. Synthetic materials such as Corian do not require any sealing, but are not as durable as granite.Products such as Caesarstone and Silestone, which are comprised of natural quartz, are some of natures strongest and most durable materials. Berceli is an authorized dealer for both these products and many others. Give us a call to learn more.
