The most discreet way is to first try the friendly approach. Explain to the neighbor what it is that irks you, and see if they respond. If your neighbor is breaking an Association rule, check your Declaration or Rules and Regulations and determine if the problem fits the scope of a violation. If it does, send a letter to us on in care of your Association and document specific dates, times and describe in detail what rule it is that’s being broken and what you have done to resolve it. Photographs are very helpful, too. Please note: Anonymous letters are always discarded, so please date and sign your letter. The Manager may write a letter to the resident in question or bring the matter to the attention of the Board. However, be prepared to face your neighbor at a hearing of the Board if the matter escalates to that degree. Everyone is entitled to face their accuser.
