i would have to say albania (it is the most westernized of all) but you have to keep in mind that the albanian people may call themselves muslims but only a small handfull of the population actually practice islam about 10 or 15% with that said you also have to keep in mind that unlike afghanistan of iraq or pakastan or saudi Arabia, albania does not incorprate the Koran or any other relgious text into there poltics or military

Turkey is pretty developed too. EDIT: ooh ooh, this reminds me of the movie, The Life of Brian, by Monty Python, when John Cleese is trying to get Jews riled up and ready to over throw the Romans. He says something about what have the Romans ever done for us, and people keep coming up with different things, security, sanitation, etc.

these are the most backward countries in the world, i’m not sure about Uzbek, but the rest are big time losers, the most developed islamic countries are Malaysia, indonesia, turkey, iraq before 1991
