What is the most dependable and longest lasting car?
Almost any car is dependable and lasts a long time IF it is properly maintained and IF properly driven meaning no hot rodding and no excessive speeds. People do not believe me until they try it but I try never to drive over 60 mph (100kph)and on trips set the criuse control on 60 mph; I have people who are driving 75 to 85 mph pass me several times each day. Normally they well arrive maybe 10 to 15 minuts ahead of me. I burn less fuel, not as tired, and it is easier on the car. I had an76 F150 drove it over 225,000 miles, have an 88 F250 with excess of 162,000 miles and a 96 Toyota with 68,000 miles. I had a 78 Chevy with 128,000 when I sold it. I generally drive my vehicles in the excess of 150,000 miles with minimal extra exspenses.
