What is the Most Common School Program for Music?
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Music from a Musical Institute are able to choose from a variety of concentrations, such as music performance, music or recording arts and sciences. Within the music performance concentration, students are able to narrow their focus even more by selecting a specific major, such as composition, guitar, jazz, keyboard, voice or music education. Most Musical Institutes require an audition for acceptance to the school. The curriculum of a Musical Institute combines one-on-one training with master musicians with music studies, liberal arts and career studies. Musical Institute degree programs require a core group of classes for all majors that typically include music history, harmony, elements of conducting and music theory.
