What is the most common mistake that you see couples make when planning their wedding flowers?
Couples do not always leave enough of their budget for flowers and that in turn causes the biggest mistake in that they do not leave enough money for their floral centerpieces. I usually think of the personal flowers such as your bouquets, corsages and boutonnière as a separate item from your reception flowers. It’s not unusual for your reception décor to be double or even triple the cost of your personal and ceremony flowers. Most brides agree that their floral centerpieces are extremely important to the over look and feel of the reception yet they leave this item to be one of the least “funded” parts of the wedding. It’s always so discouraging to me when a bride comes in with inspiration pictures of centerpieces that are massive only for me to have to tell her that $60 or even $100 does not always buy this look for you.
