What is the most challenging thing so far youve encountered in being a teen parent?
Christina: For me, it’s going to school and then coming home and trying to take care of him. That’s been the most challenging thing because it’s very exhausting. Krystal: I get tired real fast. When I clean up I have to sit … I don’t have as much energy as I used to have. I still get morning sickness. Marquette: From what I’ve seen, it’s time-consuming. My brother, he had his twins at age 16. It didn’t really affect the male, but the female, there’s a lot of things she couldn’t do anymore. She didn’t finish school. She had to take care of the kids, and that’s what she did. He’s gone for right now — he’s still taking care of the kids, but he’s on leave with the Navy … he’s taking care of them, money-wise.
